Farcom Professional sponsors the Social Hair Salon of the Municipality of Thessaloniki

A new chapter of solidarity and care took place on Wednesday, September 20, in Irini Street, with the opening of the Social Hair Salon of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

The Social Hair Salon, which was created with the unwavering support of Farcom Professional, is an initiative of the Municipality of Thessaloniki which aims to take care of the homeless and needy citizens, by offering them free grooming services, such as hair cutting, hair washing and styling. The Social Hair Salon will operate exclusively with the support of volunteer hairdressers, whose contribution will be crucial for its success.

Farcom Professional with dedication to its social role, once again supports initiatives that promote social welfare expressing its full commitment to support this new social structure. The company, also, undertook the reconstruction of the space, the equipment and the supply of the necessary products for the operation of the Social Hair Salon, creating a fully functional and welcoming space, fully functional, to welcome and serve the vulnerable people of the community.

Anastasios Stavropoulos (Anber), the initiator of the idea of Social Hair Salon, was honored by Farcom Professional, for his contribution to the promotion of volunteerism and the support of socially vulnerable groups.

The Social Hair Salon of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, is dedicated to the memory of Georgios Sarasidis, the founder of Farcom Professional, who supported the hairdressing community for more than 50 years, while his name continues to reflect the spirit of solidarity and dedication to society.
