This is a full-time R&D Formulator role at FARCOM S.A., located in the Industrial Park of N. Redestos in Thessaloniki. As an R&D Formulator, you will be responsible for the formulation and development of cosmetic products, including skin and hair care. You will work closely with the RND team to develop new formulations, improve existing ones, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry hygiene standards.
Main responsibilities:
• Development of products based on requested data.
• Contact with suppliers, market research and evaluation of raw materials.
• Conduct stability and compatibility testing for new products.
• Defining specifications and production instructions
• Participation in scale up and investigation of production issues.
• Monitoring of legislation in collaboration with the Regulatory department.
• Preparation of documents for Certifications and Product File.
Necessary qualifications:
• Degree in Chemistry or similar specialty.
• Postgraduate Degree in Cosmetology will be considered a critical qualification.
• 3 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry will be an additional evaluation criterion.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
• Very good computer knowledge and handling.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Responsibility, organization and reliability.
FARCOM S.A., a Greek cosmetics manufacturing company, is seeking to hire a Supervisor for the Maintenance Department for full-time employment at the Industrial Park of N. Redestos in Thessaloniki.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Planning and managing all preventive maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
• Supervising the electro-mechanical and building equipment.
• Optimizing technical and economic aspects of equipment and projects.
• Researching and identifying suitable partners/suppliers/contractors.
• Supervising and training the responsible team.
• Managing supplies and inventory.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Creating team performance reports and proposing process optimization.
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Total of 10 years of experience in a maintenance department, with the last 5 years in a managerial position in the industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in computer usage. Knowledge of ERP and CMMS operating systems.
• Effective team and project management skills.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and initiative.
• Excellent communication skills, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Strong time management skills and adherence to schedules.
• Sense of responsibility, consistency, and integrity.
